CC Robinson began writing stories as a child to understand the world around her. The Divided Series was born after she awoke from an all-night dystopian nightmare in which she saw the US descend into a dictatorship with walls built to enforce peace among our four main ethnicities. Asking, “how can this world unite again?” led to the creation of the Underground and her favorite fictional heroes - Rose, Marcos, Harriet, and Jason.

A trained economist, medical doctor, master in public health and nonprofit executive, CC serves her local church as the Finance Director, Online Pastor and sometimes as the gardener. CC lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, the inspiration for Queenstown and the Underground, with her physician husband, three almost-grown kids, a cat named Newt and a dog named Sadie.
